First female executive to serve as the CEO of one Fortune 500 and become CEO of another. She joined CMS Energy in 2011, working in several different roles before being promoted to CEO in 2016. That same year she was named in Crain’s Detroit Business as one of 100 Most Influential Women. In 2021, she was hired as the CEO of Pacific Gas & Electric. In 2001 she received the Automotive Hall of Fame’s Young Leader in Excellence Award. She is involved with many organizations for her community including the Michigan Women’s Foundation-Power of 100 Women, the Detroit Regional Chamber Business Leaders for Michigan, Jackson Symphony Orchestra advisory board and Purdue University Society of Women Engineers Industrial
