Check out June’s featured themes.
June is Pride Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community while reflecting on the importance of acceptance, belonging and equality. This month, one of our focus topics is Pride, highlighting how inclusive environments and feeling valued for who you are can positively impact overall wellbeing. Pride is also a reminder that visibility and support matter not just in June, but year-round in helping individuals feel safe, respected and connected. You can access resource recommendations here.
June is recognized as PTSD Awareness Month, a time to deepen understanding of post-traumatic stress disorder and its impact on mental health. PTSD can result from a wide range of traumatic experiences, and each person’s response is different. We’ll discuss PTSD, its common causes, symptoms and ways to support those facing these challenges, with the goal of reducing stigma and encouraging empathy. Greater awareness helps create more supportive environments and pathways toward healing. You can access our resource recommendations here.
Adolescence is a time of rapid change, and mental health can be affected by everything from school demands and social relationships to self-esteem and future uncertainty. Many teens quietly navigate challenges such as anxiety, mood changes or overwhelming stress without feeling sure where to turn. We’ll focus on normalizing these experiences, reducing stigma and emphasizing the importance of safe, trusted environments. Support from parents, educators, coaches and caregivers can make a powerful difference by encouraging open dialogue, offering reassurance and helping teens feel seen, supported, and not alone. You can access our resource recommendations here.
Men’s mental health is often shaped by cultural expectations around strength, independence and self-reliance, which can make it harder to acknowledge stress or seek support. Many men experience challenges such as anxiety, depression, burnout or loneliness, yet stigma and silence remain common barriers to care. We’ll focus on encouraging open conversations, breaking down misconceptions and highlighting the value of supportive relationships. When workplaces, families, and communities create space for honesty and connection, men are better able to access the support they need and prioritize their wellbeing.
