Serving the Fraternity for more than 80 years, the Collegiate Development Consultant (CDC) program plays a vital role in elevating the collegiate chapter experience. Each year, Delta Gamma hires a team of recent graduates to serve as CDCs, empowering and coaching our collegiate leaders and chapters to reach their full potential.

What is a CDC?

Collegiate Development Consultants are recent college graduates and Delta Gamma members. As paid Delta Gamma Fraternity staff members, CDCs devote a year to serve the Fraternity by providing leadership development, education and guidance to collegiate chapters. They may travel to Delta Gamma chapters across the United States and Canada or assist with a newly established Delta Gamma chapter for the duration of their contract. Collegiate Development Consultants are responsible for helping chapters uphold Fraternity policies, strengthen operational practices, cultivate inclusive and values‑based membership experiences, and ensure long‑term chapter health.

Through scheduled campus visits, our consultants collaborate with chapter officers, advisers, campus partners, and Fraternity leadership to assess chapter needs and deliver tailored coaching and education. Their work reinforces Delta Gamma’s commitment to excellence, belonging, and the personal development of every member.

Core Responsibilities of the CDC Role

CDCs evaluate chapter operations, identify areas of strength and improvement, and support officers in implementing new ideas, effective practices, or enhanced operations.

Consultants facilitate workshops, officer trainings, and leadership conversations that reinforce Delta Gamma’s values and enhance the skills of chapter leaders across all positions.

Consultants provide guidance on sisterhood programming, retention strategies, officer transitions, harm prevention, and the creation of meaningful, mission driven member experiences.

CDCs work closely with regional volunteers, advisory teams, and Delta Gamma Executive Offices staff members to ensure coordinated support and consistent communication with chapters.
