Ann Bordelon, a certified public accountant, has had a long career as a finance executive. From large corporations like Walmart to start-up companies to educational institutions, her career has taken her to many different areas. Early in her career, Ann worked for Ernst & Young’s Assurance then in 2003 she joined Walmart as an Assistant Controller. Quickly showing herself as a skilled leader she would spend 13 years working in a number roles including as CFO for Walmart’s Sam’s Club, CFO of Walmart’s Asia Region and Global Chief Audit Executive. During this time, she was awarded the Mento Award from the National Association for Female Executives Women. She also began working with NOWDignostics, Inc. a startup located in Arkansas as a financial advisor. In 2017, she became the CFO for the Mitchell Communications Group, the flagship PR Agency within the Dentsu-Aegis Network a multinational media and digital marketing communications company. Since 2020 she has been a member of the Board of Managers of Portillo’s, where she chairs the audit committee. In 2020 she was named Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration at the University of Arkansas.
