Our founders helped spark a movement to create safe and empowering communities for women on college campuses. We still do so today on over 140 campuses through a culture of belonging, a promise to empower and a commitment to put our purpose into practice.

Coming to Utah as an out-of-state student, making friends felt intimidating. Without a built-in support system, I wasn’t sure where I’d fit in. I found a group of women who not only support me through every challenge but also push me to be my most authentic self. Being part of Delta Gamma has given me a sense of belonging I never knew I needed, and I’m so grateful to be surrounded by such an amazing group of women who share my values and make every moment of college more meaningful.

Doing good is the core of our organization and can mean something different to each Delta Gamma. As a member, you’ll have the opportunity to volunteer and do good for others outside of our organization, as well as volunteer for Delta Gamma and make an impact on the organization.

With opportunities to network with members around the world, a sister can easily mentor or be mentored, and opportunities continue throughout life as an alumna. The Delta Gamma experience does not end after college. Instead, our sisterhood broadens to give each member the chance to continue her involvement in their own unique way.

Delta Gamma is proud that each member is valued for their individuality and joining is the first step in developing a lifelong sisterhood and bonds with women who want to make the world a better place. We are looking for those who will bring qualities that our members hold near and dear, such as:

Membership Responsibilities

Our membership responsibilities exist to inspire a sense of true belonging, activate growth, advance opportunity and do the work of lasting progress. While each chapter of Delta Gamma may set its own membership responsibilities to mirror those efforts, these are Delta Gamma’s membership responsibilities.

  • Sign the Statement of Obligation (Your commitment to live by the high standards and ideals of our sisterhood)
  • Abide by the policies and procedures of Delta Gamma
  • Comply with all university rules and regulations and local, state, provincial and federal laws
  • Attend all “anchored” events as a collegiate member. Examples of anchored events would be: Founders Day, Initiation and other important events for the Delta Gamma chapter
  • Pay all dues and fees on time as a collegiate member
  • Fulfill lifelong dues commitment as an alumna
