Evolving Our Awards: Honoring Excellence in Today’s Delta Gamma

At Delta Gamma, recognizing excellence has always been an important part of how we celebrate our members and chapters. From collegians to alumnae, our awards highlight the leadership, service and impact that bring our “do good” motto to life.

As our Fraternity continues to grow and evolve, so too must the way we recognize that excellence.

Following a comprehensive review with Council, we are introducing a series of thoughtful updates to our awards program — designed to better align with our standards, streamline processes and create a more connected experience across Delta Gamma.

A More Connected Path to Convention

One of the most significant updates is the alignment between select regional and international awards.

For both alumnae groups and collegiate chapters, select regional awards will now serve as the direct pathway to international recognition. Regional honorees and runners-up in key categories will advance as finalists for the corresponding international awards at Convention.

These awards with direct connection are:

This creates a more cohesive journey — building momentum at the regional level and ensuring greater consistency in how excellence is recognized across the Fraternity.

*New for 2026.

Outstanding Communications awards now encompass previously separate newsletter and technology awards.

A Streamlined, Data-Informed Process

To better reflect how our groups already operate, we are eliminating separate award applications for group awards.

These tools already measure performance against Fraternity Standards, making them a natural and meaningful foundation for award consideration.

This approach:

Recognition that Continues to Do Good

Award recipients will receive a commemorative certificate and have the opportunity to extend their impact by directing a donation in their name to the Delta Gamma Foundation or Fraternity.

This change reflects both stewardship and purpose — ensuring recognition not only celebrates achievement, but also contributes to the future of Delta Gamma.
