Theta Chapter of Delta Gamma Fraternity Collegiate Leadership Award

This award honors Patricia Peterson Danielson, an inspirational and outstanding alumna of Theta-Indiana University chapter of Delta Gamma Fraternity in appreciation of her deep commitment to and leadership within Theta-Indiana chapter of Delta Gamma, Delta Gamma Fraternity and Foundation, Indiana University, her place of worship and her community.

Qualifications:

This award will be given to a Delta Gamma who is currently an undergraduate, has graduated at the most recent commencement or has finished all course work and will graduate at the next scheduled commencement who:

• Has made and continues to make a significant leadership contribution in philanthropy or philanthropic service to their campus, community, place of worship, state/province, nation or world. Activities must have taken place within at least the last five years.
• Demonstrates a high level of vision and commitment to a philanthropic endeavor outside their chapter responsibilities through leadership, service, time and effort.
• Has exhibited a high degree of personal initiative and creativity in pursuing this philanthropic endeavor or service.

Catherine Stuart Schmoker Principled Leadership Award

Helen Catherine Davis Stuart, Kappa-University of Nebraska chapter of Delta Gamma and her husband James Stuart, Phi Delta Theta Fraternity – University of Nebraska, parents of Catherine (Kit) Stuart Schmoker, developed the Schmoker Alumna Principled Leadership Award to honor and recognize their daughter’s commitment to Delta Gamma, her alma mater, her community and her place of worship. 

Qualifications:

This award will be presented to a Delta Gamma alumna in good standing who:

• Has made and continues to make a significant leadership contribution in philanthropy or philanthropic service to their community, place of worship, state/province, nation or world. Activities must have taken place within at least the last five years,
• Demonstrates a high level of vision and commitment to a philanthropic endeavor outside the scope of their professional work or activities.
• Continues to exhibit a high level of commitment to a philanthropic endeavor, and has served demonstrably as a role model, a respected leader and a valued volunteer.
• Has shown a commitment to the financial needs of the endeavor or organization.
