Fraternity Housing Corporation

Delta Gamma chapters across North America are supported by volunteers who give their time to maintain the chapter housing.

The local house corporation is comprised of collegiate chapter officers and local alumnae. Regional Housing Specialists, the Director of Housing Development and the Director of Housing Resources are available to help local house corporations navigate everything from budgeting and employment issues to planning for future property expansion.

Delta Gamma established the Fraternity Housing Corporation (FHC) to assist house corporations with a wide range of financial expertise. FHC provides timely and cost-effective financial services and works to strengthen the local house corporation.

FHC helps local house corporations in a variety of ways, depending on the individual board's needs. These duties may include:

  • Administering payroll
  • Providing record-keeping and IRS reporting services
  • Invoicing collegiate chapters and collecting funds
  • Processing payment of all house corporation bills
  • Handling all human resources needs
  • Balancing local house corporation accounts
  • Providing monthly financial reports to the local house corporation
  • Acting as liaison with insurance companies for questions, claims and effective risk management
  • Acting as liaison with any governmental agency and filing all reports
  • Assisting in obtaining loans, running capital campaigns and planning major projects

Launched in 2014, FHC is pleased to offer the Employee Management Service to complement the Employee Search and Screening Service. These resources assist house corporations in obtaining and training outstanding employees.

Additional information can be found in the House Corporation Handbook, which is located in the DG website library or by contacting the Regional Housing Specialist or the Office of Housing.
