Endowments and annual gifts allow the Foundation to award undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships to members, as well as provide financial assistance to collegians through Sisters Helping Sisters: A Need-Based Scholarship Program and to members in crisis through Anchor Grants.
With the rising costs of tuition, it is so important for our members to have options to make completing their education more affordable. Delta Gamma scholarships and fellowships are made possible through generous gifts to the Foundation. Sisters Helping Sisters: A Need-Based Scholarship Program
The Delta Gamma Foundation supports collegiate members who have proven financial need and student loan debt through our Sisters Helping Sisters: A Need-Based Scholarship Program. These scholarships are granted on a rolling basis. For the 2016-2017 academic year, 177 collegians benefited from receiving a need-based scholarship of $2,500. For more information on need-based scholarships, check out our guide and FAQ here.
As an effort to assist members in their times of trouble, Delta Gamma Foundation Anchor Grants were established in 1996. Anchor Grants assist Delta Gamma sisters who find themselves in extreme financial need created by job loss, health crisis, natural disaster, or other unexpected life circumstances. Anchor Grants are awarded throughout the year, as funds are available.
