Foundation Special Committees

The Board of Trustees has created new committees to assist with the programs of the Foundation. The goal of these new committees is to provide a way for more individuals to lend their expertise into specific areas of the Foundation, to advise on topics in which they have insight and knowledge, and to allow for diversity of thought. An elected member of the Board of Trustees chairs each of the three committees.

Investment Committee

  • Chair: Danielle D’Arcy, Foundation Treasurer
  • Committee Purpose: To monitor and steward the Foundation’s investment portfolio to grow the Foundation’s assets in perpetuity.

The committee seeks members who have experience in investment management in either their personal, professional, or collegiate lives. 

Service for Sight Advisory Committee

  • Chair, Kim Hunnewell, Foundation Trustee
  • Committee Purpose: To engage all members through Service for Sight and educate members about service as a part of the lifelong membership experience. Looking for up to 12 members in addition to the chair.

The committee seeks members who have lived and/or professional experience directly related to Service for Sight as well as collegiate members with a commitment to Service for Sight.

Operational Enrichment Committee

  • Chair: Lee Deadwyler, Foundation Trustee
  • Committee Purpose: To strengthen the organization through inclusion and excellence as it relates to staff, diversifying volunteer recruitment, and investing in tools and resources to advance fundraising operations and benchmarking.

The committee seeks members who have experience with non-profit governance, non-profit management, change management, Delta Gamma BEID-related committees, and BOA/FAB.
