Welcome to the family of Delta Gamma! We are delighted that your daughter has chosen membership in our Fraternity. Delta Gamma is one of the oldest and largest of women's fraternities. We were founded in 1873 and since the very beginning we have believed in the high ideals of friendship, social responsibility and character as well as a commitment to educational and cultural interests.

The Delta Gamma Foundation offers opportunities that enable our members to contribute through philanthropies of Aid to the Blind and Service for Sight; Scholarships, Fellowships and Loans; and Educational Programming. Celebrating over 50 years of service, more than $1 million is raised annually for philanthropic purposes.

The ANCHORA of Delta Gamma, published continuously since 1884, is the publication that all members receive for a lifetime. This official journal of the Fraternity is recognized as one of the finest fraternity magazines published. Your daughter's subscription will be mailed to her home address.

Delta Gamma parents provide much-appreciated support and assistance to our collegiate chapters. Many chapters have established Parents' Clubs while others host special parents' events where you will have the opportunity to meet your daughter's Delta Gamma sisters and learn more about her chapter and the Fraternity. You are also able to easily purchase Delta Gamma sportswear and other gift items from Anchor Trader, the Fraternity's merchandise program that benefits the Foundation's scholarship and fellowship program.

Committed to the value of human dignity, the Fraternity does not tolerate hazing in any form. We also realize that one of the biggest concerns parents have today is alcohol abuse and misuse. Delta Gamma is committed to working with and educating our members and chapters on the effects of alcohol consumption and to increase their awareness.

Your daughter's Delta Gamma sisterhood and support does not end with college. There are many advantages that our members enjoy through out their lives. As an alumna member of the Fraternity, your daughter is welcome at over 250 alumnae organizations across the U.S., Canada and Great Britain.
