In order to continue receiving your issues of the ANCHORA, you need to take action for the ANCHORA! We encourage you to do so in one or more of the following ways:
-
pay your alumnae per capita dues of $22,
- make a donation to the Fraternity, which produces the magazine,
- make a tax-deductible donation to the Foundation,
- and/or e-mail anchora@deltagamma.org to tell us your subscription preference: continue your quarterly hard copy or opt for electronic notification when the latest issue is online?
-
No action from you means you’ll automatically start receiving e-notifications (if we have your e-mail on file) three times per year plus one hard-copy issue each year.
- (Check out the latest electronic issue here.)
The ANCHORA of Delta Gamma magazine has been published continuously since its establishment, more than 100 years ago. The mission of the ANCHORA is to inform, educate, entertain and inspire readers on subjects relevant to the Fraternity, its members and Greek life; to encourage members' lifetime involvement and "Do Good" spirit; and to serve as a permanent record of Fraternity history.
Tips for online viewing: single-click on the page corners to turn the page, or click on links (they will temporarily illuminate when the page opens) to go directly to an article or an external Web site/e-mail address. Explore the navigation toolbar along the top and see which features best help you read your ANCHORA online!
Having trouble reading the text? You have two options. Choose the zoom tool in the navigation toolbar and then use your mouse to move around the page. You may also click on each heading to read the text-only article in a new window.
Download a PDF (Adobe Acrobat version) of past issues of the magazine here in our ANCHORA archives.

Sending your ANCHORA submissions electronically is easy with some simple guidelines. Even the e-mail is easy to remember: anchora@deltagamma.org.
- Be sure to include your alumnae group or chapter's name in the subject line.
- Chapter reports should be a maximum of 100 words.
- Think about your report as an archival piece. Write about a special member or event, rather than providing a running list of activities.
- Formatting (spacing, tabs, etc.) is not necessary.
- Digital photos may be any format, but should have a resolution no less than 300 dpi/ppi at 4"x 6". (You can still mail hard copies to EO's address: Delta Gamma Executive Offices, attn: ANCHORA, 3250 Riverside Dr., Columbus, OH 43221-0397.)
- Photos may not include any drinking glasses or cups - regardless of the subjects' age.
- Opt for quality action shots and photos of small groups or individuals. (All-house or large-group photos will not be printed large enough to identify anyone!)
- All pictures and articles submitted are the property of Delta Gamma Fraternity. They are subject to use and publication in all Delta Gamma materials.
